Another Bullet Dodged

Before I tell you the good news, let's all knock on wood. I put my flasher assembly back together this morning, and IT WORKS! That was the good news. The bad news is that I discovered the ashtray (which I never use) was FULL of juice!! Yuck! Needless to say, the console of the car had a very thorough cleaning this morning. Too bad we're in our rainy season, otherwise I'd have the whole thing detailed. OK, on to the next crisis.

Just got back from the Keith Urban concert. Awesome!!! When the show was over, we discovered it was raining cats and dogs, and we hadn't brought umbrellas. Poop!! It was absolutely pouring, so my girlfriend and I got SOAKED on the way to the car. That wasn't the bad news, tho. Once we were out on the freeway, I tried to turn on my stereo, but guess what? It doesn't work!! Even my clock is dead. Tomorrow I'll play with the fuses again and see if maybe one of them is loose. If not, I still may have to pay that $5000 to get it fixed;-) Hey, at least the flashers are working!

It's after midnight, and I still want to read a few chapters in my latest Ann Rule book. This one is Small Sacrifices. Another thick one, too. Anyway, night!
